At CIOE 2025 in Shenzhen, Union Image presented its AIoT vision solutions under the theme From Light to Intelligence, covering camera modules, visual systems, and complete imaging devices.

During the exhibition, Union Image and Nuvoton Japan jointly launched the world's first RGB x ToF fusion camera, integrating 2D RGB imaging and 3D ToF depth perception in one sensor without a mechanical structure.

RGB x ToF fusion camera launch at CIOE 2025

From 2D Imaging to 3D Perception

The RGB x ToF camera combines high-definition RGB images with ToF depth sensing, enabling long-range detection, object recognition, and distance measurement in a compact visual system.

Its strong sunlight resistance keeps depth error within 1% even under outdoor lighting and high-temperature conditions. Single-frame depth calculation reduces motion blur and supports dynamic object imaging.

RGB and ToF fusion camera technology

Low Power, High Integration, Broad Applications

With built-in depth computing and ISP, the sensor reduces dependence on external GPUs, helping lower system cost, latency, and power consumption.

The product can output 3D depth images, 2D infrared images, and 2D RGB images, supporting smart home, robot navigation, industrial automation, AR, and autonomous perception scenarios.
